Kim Contreras heard the call to urban America while a student at John Brown University. She joined the World Impact Fresno team in 1993 and has had the privilege on four different streets in urban Fresno. Through a relationship with a friend down the block named, Hopie, Kim was introduced to the hard and dark realities of human trafficking. It is through relationships she continues to engage, learn, and share with other what she has learned from Jesus and her neighbors–the true hero’s of the story. She can be found with her husband Manuel and their two children, Ian (13) and Sophia (8) trying out new taco trucks or playing with neighbors on their street.
