Made For Them’s trainings are based on the Community Resiliency Model® (CRM) certified through the Trauma Resource Institute™. With a primaryfocus to educate all ages about the biology and neurophysiology of trauma, stress and resilience, in a simplified and tangible way. Individuals learn to understand sensations connected to their own well-being, called the “Resilient Zone.” Learn the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system, and how resiliency can be restored or increased using this skills-based approach.
These skills help reset and stabilize the nervous system helping individuals remain calm when upset to better engage challenges of each day. Learning to read our bodies’ signals when we are in different “zones” can help to understand the different ways we respond to stressful situations. When the focus is on normal biological responses to extraordinary events, there is a paradigm shift from symptoms being described as biological rather than as pathological or as mental weakness. As traumatic stress symptoms are normalized, feelings of shame and self-blame are reduced or eliminated. Symptoms are viewed as the body’s attempt to re-establish balance to the nervous system, not labeled with judgement.
During the Made For Them CRM trainings you will learn practical everyday, biologically based skills to help self regulate during times of stress; these skills are for ANYONE, ANYWHERE at ANYTIME.
